This Privacy Policy explains how KDR handles information when you browse our website and its reading and video experiences, or contact us. KDR is an ad-supported digital media publication. For privacy questions, contact shahar@engagemedia.tv.
1. Information we collect
Public reading does not require an account. We collect reading and interaction events, including pages and chapters viewed, scroll depth, engagement, video interactions, ad requests, impressions, viewability and clicks. These events can include the article, timestamps, a random session identifier, broad device class, and campaign or creative identifiers present in a link. A session identifier is pseudonymous; it is not a guarantee of anonymity. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include.
2. Technical information and browser storage
Our reading analytics use browser session storage to associate events during a session. Session storage normally ends when the browsing session ends, although browser session restoration may preserve it. Browser storage can also remember interface and advertising state. Hosting, media, security and advertising providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request URLs and logs when your device connects to their services. We do not request contacts or precise device location for public reading.
3. How we use information
We use information to deliver articles and videos, maintain and secure the service, understand reading performance, measure advertising and acquisition, improve content and usability, and respond to support or correction requests. We distinguish advertising estimates from reconciled revenue; measurement events do not establish a reader's identity.
4. Advertising and measurement
KDR uses third-party advertising, including ExoClick. Advertising providers may receive technical information and use cookies or similar identifiers according to their own policies and applicable consent requirements. Our site also supports Google Tag Manager and Google analytics integrations; supporting an integration does not mean every tool is active. A Tag Manager container loads only when configured. 5. Embedded videos and external links
Articles may embed videos from services such as YouTube or link to publisher websites. Loading or interacting with third-party media may disclose technical information to that provider and allow it to use its own storage or cookies. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. KDR does not control their collection or practices.
6. Sharing and international processing
Information may be processed by providers supporting hosting, data storage, media delivery, advertising and communications. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or legal rights. Providers may process information outside your country; applicable transfer protections depend on the provider and the law governing the processing.
7. Retention and security
We keep information for the purposes described here, subject to operational needs and legal requirements. Deleting browser storage does not delete events already received by our systems or third parties. We use access restrictions and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us about a particular record or deletion request; we do not promise a fixed retention period that has not been established.
8. Your choices and rights
You can manage cookies and browser storage in your browser, restrict third-party cookies and use privacy controls offered by advertising providers. These settings may affect embedded media or advertising. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict personal information, object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Send requests to shahar@engagemedia.tv; we may need information to verify and locate the relevant records. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. This policy is not itself a consent mechanism.
9. Children
KDR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Scope and updates
This policy describes KDR's website services; it does not claim that Firebase or any particular native-app advertising SDK is configured. Any app-specific collection or permissions must be disclosed for the released app. We may update this policy when our services or practices change and will revise the date above.
